Over Gianna
Hey, my name is Gianna. I’m a student at Maastricht University, where I combine Psychology and Global Studies to promote a deeper connection between humans and nature. For me, yoga is an extension of this journey, since it teaches us to be compassioned, grateful and patient with ourselves, but also with the world around us.
Exercise has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, but yoga found me in a very unexpected way, when a spontaneous decision led me to join a 200 hour teacher training in Bali. What started as a way to expand the spirituality I had been exploring through meditation quickly became a new life path that continues to shape me everyday.
For me, teaching yoga is about creating a space to move, breathe, and connect—encouraging inner growth, community, and deeper awareness of body and mind. I especially enjoy guiding energizing and powerful flows that leave you feeling a little more grounded but also a little more alive in your own body.
In my classes, you'll find a supportive environment where all levels are welcome. Whether you’re here to build physical strength, find presence of mind, or simply discover a new sense of balance in your life, I'm here to guide you on your journey. I'm looking forward to seeing you on the mat!
